Made in Japan for the spotlight of southern California, the Mookie Betts A2K MB50 Game Model outfield glove checks in at 12.5" with durable Pro Stock Select leather and lightweight SuperSkin for the perfect combination of control and size on the grass. Meticulously designed for Mookie Betts, the A2K MB50 is inspired by the A2K 1799 model with a sturdy Dual Post Web to haul in fly balls. Betts and Master Glove Craftsmen Shigeaki Aso narrowed the wrist opening and shortened the glove for improved control, and Royal Blue SuperSkin reduces glove weight. Double Palm Construction – an extra layer of leather between the palm shell and liner – maintains the glove’s shape while players go all out between the foul lines.

Pro Stock Select leather hides are triple-sorted, a fine inspection process reviewing the leather at least three times to identify the top 5% for ideal qualities of softness, stretch and durability.

SuperSkin

Microfiber material that’s half the weight of Pro Stock Leather, but twice as durable. Its moisture-resistant design extends the longevity of the glove, and is easier to clean than traditional leather.

Rolled Dual Welting

Thin strips of Pro Stock leather are skived thin and rolled to provide long-lasting shape and an unparalleled break-in.

Expert craftsmen insert an extra layer of thin leather between the palm shell and liner, extending along the palm and fingers to enhance pocket stability, form the glove during the break-in process and maintain its shape through frequent use.
